The differences between a trailer and an opening sequence/ title sequence are that a trailer advertises the film and will show the best parts that are very short clips of it to not ruin the movie and may have a voice over or text popping up on the screen.
A opening sequence shows the actors and creators, it could have a soundtrack or in some cases there is no soundtrack, the opening sequence needs to be interesting.
As you can see they use a voice over and show some really good bits of the film but they aren't long they a quite short clips.
As you can see this shows the cast and more. This is an example of a opening sequence without a soundtrack. You get drawn in when you see all the contraptions that 'Doc' has made.
