Possible Filming Locations
Filming Locations
A possible filming I thought would be good would be my bathroom as our group wanted to do a shot of a person coming out of the water to put some titles on it, it is also a small room so there would be only be close ups and extreme close ups which is typical to the horror genre.
Another idea I had would be in bedroom as it gives a good shadow and low key lighting would be good for our scene as it is a dark sequence. This is also a small room so it would use close ups and extreme close ups too.

The last area I thought would be good is my living room as it's a larger room and would be good to show the punishments you would get in our idea.

Wallander
Sound
At the start of the clip there is a non diegetic drone, which sounds like wind, which links to the establishing shot which looks like it's at the country side, this drone makes the audience feel tense and uncomfortable. The sound is then stopped by a slicing sound, which links to the incident which happened in this clip.
The first shot you see is an establishing shot of the countryside, this makes you ask questions like what happened and why is it so empty?
We also get extreme close ups of all the evidence this also makes the audience ask questions about what happened and if the two women were innocent and the guy might have done something. You then see the photo of the possible family, you then question if he was innocent and not the women.
The outfit that the women were wearing was dark clothes, this shows that they are the suspects of the of what happened. The taxi is also white which shows a contrast and that he was innocent. One of the women is also wearing an old razor round her neck which also shows that she is aggressive.
Editing
The editing is used very well because when you are seeing the evidence it is very quick cuts, this makes you ask questions about what happened with the taxi driver. The cuts aren't just cutting between the clues they are also cutting between the women and the clues, this makes the audience create links between the evidence and the women.

The differences between a trailer and a opening sequence
The differences between a trailer and an opening sequence/ title sequence are that a trailer advertises the film and will show the best parts that are very short clips of it to not ruin the movie and may have a voice over or text popping up on the screen.
A opening sequence shows the actors and creators, it could have a soundtrack or in some cases there is no soundtrack, the opening sequence needs to be interesting.
As you can see they use a voice over and show some really good bits of the film but they aren't long they a quite short clips.
As you can see this shows the cast and more. This is an example of a opening sequence without a soundtrack. You get drawn in when you see all the contraptions that 'Doc' has made.

Preliminary Task
Www: When I open the door in 3 clips they flow through and link well.
We used eyeline match well.
Ebi: To make sure we stick to the 180 degree rule at all times.
We had to change room and re shoot the whole thing again.
