Wallander

Sound
At the start of the clip there is a non diegetic drone, which sounds like wind, which links to the establishing shot which looks like it's at the country side, this drone makes the audience feel tense and uncomfortable. The sound is then stopped by a slicing sound, which links to the incident which happened in this clip.

The first shot you see is an establishing shot of the countryside, this makes you ask questions like what happened and why is it so empty?

We also get extreme close ups of all the evidence this also makes the audience ask questions about what happened and if the two women were innocent and the guy might have done something. You then see the photo of the possible family, you then question if he was innocent and not the women.

The outfit that the women were wearing was dark clothes, this shows that they are the suspects of the of what happened. The taxi is also white which shows a contrast and that he was innocent. One of the women is also wearing an old razor round her neck which also shows that she is aggressive.

 Editing
The editing is used very well because when you are seeing the evidence it is very quick cuts, this makes you ask questions about what happened with the taxi driver. The cuts aren't just cutting between the clues they are also cutting between the women and the clues, this makes the audience create  links between the evidence and the women.
